FAM Sections

FAM currently has four special membership sections that were created to conduct activities and share information of particular interest to the FAM members and/or membership. Each individual member of FAM may elect to become a member of one of these special membership sections. Currently, there are four special membership sections: the art museum section, the children’s museum section, the history museum section and the science museum section. Sections may adopt operating procedures, conduct section activities, elect Section Chairs and Section Officers, and propose resolutions for consideration of the membership or the Board. See below for more information on the current sections.

Art Museum Section

The Arts Section of the Florida Association of Museums is a group dedicated to connecting the visual art museums of Florida. This network hopes to promote the collaboration of ideas through sharing information about programming, job openings, professional development opportunities, and visual art across Florida.
