The South Florida Museum in downtown Bradenton is seeking a Community Engagement Manager to be responsible for the overall success of the Museum's Annual Fund and highly involved in fundraising for capital projects. The Manager directs and administers all aspects of the Annual Fund. Other areas of responsibility include: cultivation and stewardship plans, online giving, donor recognition, and reporting and evaluating program effectiveness. The manager will work closely with Museum Trustees, the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Community Engagement Officer and other staff to identify, cultivate and solicit major gift support. This position reports to the Chief Community Engagement Officer.
A minimum of 3 years of relevant fundraising experience is required. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment; works well as part of a team; is able to set priorities, manage multiple priorities simultaneously and follow through to completion of tasks; maintain a high level of confidentiality; is proficient with Microsoft Office suite and has strong writing skills.
