Responsibilities

Assists with logistical set up of venues for events to include carrying/moving tables, chairs, lighting, and other items.

Ensure all logistical set ups are complete and cleared out in a timely manner.

Assists in oversight of vendors and load-ins.

Interfaces with client, vendors, and Museum staff at various events.

Maintains safety of property in conjunction with security staff.

Enforces established rules and policies for sound, guest, and vendor conduct.

Set up and operate sound and A/V equipment.

Provide excellent customer service to all clients and vendors.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and walk distances.

Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be team oriented.

Must possess a valid Driver's license and be able to drive a golf cart.

Must have ability to self-direct at various times.

Must have a flexible schedule and be available nights and weekends.

Preferred

Experience with basic sound and event equipment.

Anticipated Salary Range

$13.00 per hour.

Pay Plan

This is an OPS/Part-Time Job.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. Flexible hours. Weekends, evenings, and holidays may be required based on the needs of the Ringling.

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
