Workshop: Marketing for Cultural/Tourism Institutions

During this crucial time in Florida's cultural tourism community, it is more important than ever to educate the public about your organization. Learn from the pros! Join FAM for an informative panel discussion on how to market your cultural or tourism institution. Can't make it to Tallahassee? Join us via Webinar. 

Speakers will discuss a variety of topics related to social media strategies and effective and innovative marketing concepts. You will also learn how museums and cultural organizations can advocate effectively and maximize relationships with the Convention and Visitor Bureaus (CVBs) and Destination Marketing Organizations (DMOs). 

Are you a small museum with a limited budget? Please join us as well! Speakers will also address small museum/small budget marketing strategies.

FL Connecting to Collections - Collections Policies Workshop Module #2/Workshop #2

Florida based library special collections, museum, zoo, archives or archaeological group are invited to participate in our new collections based workshop sereies. The Florida Connecting to Collections Program can assist your institution in the creation of a collections development or management policy that will help you in the management of your collection.

This free program, funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, provides webinars and resources for collecting organizations to work in mentor/mentee groups developing collections policies through a series of four modules – each consisting of two (2) workshops.
