The Membership Manager oversees The Ringling’s Membership Department and is responsible for maintaining and increasing members.
Responsibilities include:
Annual strategic planning to acquire new members, renewals, and upgrades from existing members including direct mail, on site sales, member service line, website, membership desk, face to face contact, events, and written communications. Develops membership communications strategies to keep members informed and engaged with the museum. Maintains department budget.
Daily department operations including but not limited to: direct communication with members, volunteers, potential members and donors, and other constituent inquiries. Manages training related to messaging the membership program and assists in overseeing the Visitor Pavilion Membership Desk operations and staff. Supervises the Membership Program Associate. Serves as relief for Membership desk staff as needed.
Collaboration and maintaining positive relationships with multiple departments to reach Membership goals, including Development staff to identify potential donors and provide appropriate recognition of members.
Overall development of membership events and activities to coincide with membership goals. Develops, interprets, executes, and monitors membership policies and procedures.
Accurate data collection and membership report analysis to determine trends relating to demographics, membership levels changes, dropped and lapsed memberships, and revenue.
Establishes and maintains effective member communications, to include confidentiality in compliance with FSU, FSU Foundation including PCI compliance.
