Visitor Services Head Associate (Full-Time)

Responsibilities
This position is part of The Ringling’s Visitor Services Team, serving as a lead worker in the Admissions and Box Office areas.

Admissions functions:
Assists with overseeing Admissions Associates, including but not limited to ensuring staff compliance with policies/procedures, processing returns, and morning/evening cash count
Operates ticketing system processing ticket sales, memberships, and e-tickets

Box Office functions:
Assists with ensuring staff compliance with policies/procedures, processing returns, and morning/evening cash count
Answers phone calls and/or emails for visitor follow up
Works directly with Box Office Manager and Front of House Manager to ensure a positive visitor experience including:
School groups (K-12)
Seating issues/ADA concerns
Customer service

As needed:
Implements Summer Circus Group Sales from inquiry through post-visit evaluation
Assists with training staff on job responsibilities, admissions processes, customer service skills, museum offerings, promotions, and memberships
Performs other duties as assigned
Skills relevant to this role include:

Advanced level customer service with a focus on serving diverse audiences
Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written
Ability to multitask and address guest issues in a timely manner
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to identify issues and take proactive measures

Qualifications

Education
HS Diploma or GED

Considerations
Rate of Pay: The final rate of pay will be based on the education, skills, and experience of the selected candidate and is expected to range from $32,920 to $40,000. Find out more about our comprehensive benefits package under the “FSU Total Rewards” section.

Working Hours: Tuesday – Saturday from 8:45 AM to 5:15 PM with a half-hour meal period. This role may be required to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, special events, and holidays based on the needs of The Ringling.

This position is based in Sarasota, FL.
This is a USPS position.
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check to include fingerprinting.
