Development Assistant

The Development Assistant reports to the Executive Director and works with the Board of Directors of the Friends of the Mennello Museum of Art, the 501(c)(3) organization known as The Friends. The role involves supporting the museum’s development efforts, membership activities, providing administrative assistance to the Board, and coordinating events. Responsibilities include office management, communications, event planning, database management, grant research, and facilitation. The position also involves advocating for the museum’s mission and supporting The Friends of the Mennello Museum of Art.

To succeed in this role, a strong commitment to the Mennello Museum’s collection, exhibitions, and programs is essential, along with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of Board leaders. The candidate should demonstrate a genuine interest in development, event planning, grant support, and maintain a professional attitude and outlook, while being able to work both collaboratively and independently.
