The Governor signed the budget today and released the veto list. This year the Cultural & Museum Grants program and the Small Matching Historic Preservation Grants program were successfully funded. Unfortunately the Culture Builds Florida program was vetoed for a total of $3,058,968.
The following funding was approved:
Division of Arts & Culture
- Cultural & Museum Grants – $20 million – funds the Secretary of State’s list for a total of $12,457,000 and the remaining $7,543,000 will come from a 2nd recommended list from the Secretary of State.
Division of Historical Resources
- Small Matching Historic Preservation – $1,391,150 (list funded)
