Marketing Coordinator

Mennello Museum, Orlando

Job Number 21-441 ● Closing Date: 1/21/2022 5:00 pm Salary: $43,908.80 - 55,972.80 annually, depending on qualifications

Performs professional marketing and graphic design work and handles creation and management of content from the Mennello Museum of American Art & City of Orlando, Public Art for various current media platforms. Responsibilities include: print media, publications, web maintenance, social media, mass media communications (press release writing and distribution, eNews & Image requests), photography, video production coordination, and logo management. Work is performed under the supervision of the Museum's Executive Director and is reviewed through discussion and evaluation of the results obtained.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Communications, Fine Art, Graphic Design, or related field, plus a minimum of two years of experience in media, marketing and design in a relevant industry required, preferably for a museum or similar public assembly facility; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Valid Florida driver license required.

Preferred skills: Competency in graphic design to Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, & Acrobat including Dreamweaver and/or WordPress. Experience with social media outlets, trends, and analytics. Knowledge of HTML and website architecture and design.
